Preliminary Inspection and Proposal
Once you contact us about your dock project, our Operations Manager will set up a time to meet with you for a full inspection and measurement of your dock or to assess any needed repairs. We are committed to being responsive—when you reach out, we’ll quickly return your calls and emails to find a time that works for you. After the inspection, we’ll gather all necessary measurements and details to create a proposal that meets your needs, ensuring we deliver high-quality results at a fair price.

Permit Preparation and Submission Phase
START DATE: Upon Receipt of Signed Proposal
DURATION: 7 Days (Off-Site)
During this phase, we will:
Conduct more site visits to collect important information about your property and its surroundings.
Prepare drawings and submit all required permit applications, including City/County Shoreline Exemption and Building Permit, as well as Dept. of Fish & Wildlife Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA).
Keep track of the permit status and address any requests from the agencies.
Brief our team and hold a project review meeting.
Schedule and attend a pre-construction inspection.
Order all materials, including any special items if needed.
Our In-house Permitting Team Contractor works closely with our Operations Manager to create and manage the entire permit process. Their deep understanding of Washington State dock building rules and established relationships with local agencies help us navigate the often complex permit requirements smoothly.

Schedule and attend piling and framing inspections if required.
